Tillman's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

34-year old American Clarence Tillman (196-SF-1990) had a very impressive game in the last round for LDC Ignite PP and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 5.
He had a double-double of 35 points and 10 rebounds, while his team crushed Del Patio (#3, 1-7) with 20-point margin 97-77. LDC Ignite maintains the 3rd position in their group in the Dominican Rep. league. LDC Ignite is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 4-7 record. Tillman turned to be LDC Ignite's top player in his first season with the team. Clarence Tillman averages this season 27.0ppg, 8.0rpg and 4.3apg. Worth to mention Tillman played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him get the job in pro basketball.

Second best performed player last round was Moises Peralta of league's second-best Santiago Basket Titanes Dorado. He is a in his first season at Santiago Basket. In the last game Peralta recorded an impressive double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Bad luck as Santiago Basket lost that game 99-109 to slightly higher-ranked Santiago Max (#1, 6-2). It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the top position in Eastern. Santiago Basket still maintains its place in the top 2 of the standings, even despite this loss. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 4-5 record. Peralta is a newcomer at Santiago Basket and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to another Santiago Basket's star - guard Jalen Crowder (196-G). Crowder got into 30-points club by scoring 35 points in the last round. He went also for five rebounds . He was another key player of Santiago Basket Titanes Dorado, helping his team with a 109-97 win against #2 ranked Verano. The chances of Santiago Basket ranking at the top of Eastern, however are very questionable as they have already lost 5 games, recording just four victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Crowder could help Santiago Basket to bring them higher in the standings. Crowder has a great season in Dominican Republic. After only 8 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 18.6ppg (7th best) and rebounds with 5.4rpg (9th best).
